Recently, the second batch of Pakistani junior college students from College of Advanced Chinese Training, Beijing Language and Culture University went to Hangzhou and Shanghai by high speed railway and started a four-day internship under the guidance of teachers
Hangzhou, the first stop of this internship trip, and the west lake, is the starting point for Pakistani students to explore the charming of the city. While appreciating the billowing water of the west lake and the pavilions on the lake, students also try to further understand the beautiful natural scenery and humanistic feelings in Chinese minds. After visiting the west lake, the students embarked on a journey of Hangzhou economy the next day, to understand and think about the opportunities and challenges brought by economic globalization. Shanghai is the second stop of this trip, and students come to Shanghai first to admire "the tallest building in China" near Shanghai central building, and then they went to Nanjing road to experience the fashion and modernity of China's top commercial blocks.
Although far away from BLCU classes in Beijing, during the four-day internship, students' "Chinese culture class" and "China's national reality class" are everywhere. I hope they can always remember what they saw, thought and gained from living in Hangzhou and Shanghai, and go further on the road of language learning and cultural exchange in the future.
