Confucius Institute at George Mason University "China in My Eyes" Photography Exhibition Kicks off

A month-long, featured with the theme "China in my eyes" and curated by the Confucius Institute at George Mason University photography exhibition, kicked off recently at NVCC Manassas Campus. With the theme of "the daily life of the Chinese people", the photography exhibition featured 60 works from more than 30 American photography lovers.

The teachers from the Confucius Institute at George Mason University specially brought the tea art performance with strong Chinese characteristics to the opening ceremony. Besides the tea art display, there were also Chinese calligraphy experience table, Chinese traditional paper cutting and kite making table. While attending the exhibition, they enjoyed the Chinese tea and the tea art performance, and experienced the traditional Chinese handwork and calligraphy.

Since its establishment in 2009, the Confucius Institute at George Mason University has been devoted to introducing Chinese culture to George Mason University and its surrounding communities and universities, and has won wide recognition and high praise. This photography exhibition truly reflects the life of ordinary Chinese people and brings rich opportunities for community colleges to experience traditional Chinese culture.
