On the morning of April 12, the Beijing Language and Culture University office of student affairs (youth league) organized counselors from all departments (institutes) to go to the Olympic forest park to carry out the counselor salon theme activity of “risk walking in warm spring, safe and healthy remain engraved between teachers and students”.

This activity consists of two parts: orienteering and campus safety and health knowledge popularization. In orienteering activities, they work together in groups, plan the best route, find checkpoints within the specified time, which has improved the understanding between counselors, enhanced the teamwork ability. In the popularization of campus safety and health knowledge link, they have especially invited Li Xuejun, Deputy Director of BLCU Office of Security and several teachers to teach a lesson of student illegal cases and drug control, they have also invited Guo Qing, Dean of BLCU hospital and school hospital doctors to provide professional guidance in common infectious diseases, chronic diseases and emergency medical among students.

The counselor salon activities are innovative in form, and it combines quality development activities and counselor professional level training together, not only has it enhanced the cohesion between counselors, but also has it increased their knowledge of campus health and safety.
