On the morning of March 30, the 2018 Council meeting of Confucius institute of Kansai Foreign Studies University in Japan was held through video conference. President Liu Li attended and addressed in the Council meeting.
In his speech, president Liu Li reviewed the achievements made by the Confucius institute of Kansai Foreign Studies University over the past year and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the leaders of the university, the Deans of the Confucius institute from the both sides, and the sincere efforts of Chinese teachers and volunteers.
President Liu Li said he was willing to strengthen cooperation with Japan, to maintain close communication and exchanges, and to strive to build the Confucius institute of Kansai Foreign Studies University into a global model Confucius institute.
Yoko Tanimoto, President of Kansai Foreign Studies University, said he was willing to work together with Beijing Language and Culture University to contribute to the sacred cause of education and to expand the exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Kansai Foreign Studies University and BLCU in order to cultivate more Japanese students learning Chinese culture.
