On January 2, the Confucius Institute Headquarters / Hanban’s 2018 training class opening ceremony for volunteer to South Korea was held ceremoniously in BeiYu LiTang.

He said that China and South Korea are friendly neighbors and strategic partners. Volunteers should cherish the training opportunities to learn from each other and strive to forge ahead. They should earnestly stick to the teachings and experiences of their predecessors, remain true to their original hearts in their work, and adhere to their own faith and mission as the bridge of friendship between China and South Korea.

Director Guo Jiaoyang thanked Beijing Language and Culture University for its contribution to the training of volunteer teachers in Confucius Institutes. She hopes that volunteers will “firmly establish their ideals and convictions, establish their sense of motherland, open our eyes to the whole world and enhance their professional accomplishments. At the same time, they should strictly abide by discipline and carefully train themselves so as to become a qualified Chinese teacher volunteer and successfully start their new life journey. ”

In the loud and clear music, Director Guo Jiaoyang and Director Zhang Wangxi gave volunteers a flag. The flag flying, showing the high spirits of volunteers during this opening ceremony; with sworn solemn, expectations and guidance of leaders and teachers at all levels, the volunteers became more firmly in their faith.
