On January 5, the Third Beijing University Youth Cadre Business Skill Context final kicked off. BLCU teacher Zu Quangsheng, together with Jia Zhaoyi from Beijing University of Science and Technology and Ma Xiao from Beijing Normal University won the first prizes.

The final links consists of scripture library, martial art performance ground, elites gathering meeting. The first session is answering objective questions. The questions focus on the management policies, major policies, daily management, office skills, and intercultural communication of studying in China. The second session is answering subjective questions, each candidate draws a topic, and gives an address of no more than two minutes on the topic, the topics include scholarship management regulations, admissions requirements, immigration regulations, handling difficulties, etc., covering a wide range of representative topics. As a session calls for innovation, the third session selects three typical scenarios of the managing international students daily work, and lets the Chinese and foreign students to play the leading role in turns to challenge the candidates, which truly restored the handling process of emergencies and special events in international student education management, in order to examine the candidates’ comprehensive ability includes the use of professional knowledge, foreign affairs etiquette, emergency handling, flexible response, language expression and other abilities.

Beijing universities youth cadre business skill contest combines training and competition, aiming at building a platform to learn, exchange and communicate for youth cadres in order to further enhance their the sense of responsibility and mission and to help the sustainable development of foreign students studying in China education.
