On November 17, BLCU President Liu Li met with the founding president of Sino-Israel Global Network of Leadership (SIGNAL) and Dr. Carice Witte, former president of Yale University Jewish Alumni Association.

President Liu Li pointed out that since 2013, with the signing of the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Israeli Research Projects" between BLCU and SIGNAL, BLCU had sent a number of outstanding undergraduates, master's and doctoral students and teachers to study in Israel; Many Israeli experts and scholars came to give lectures in BLCU in the hope of further deepening the cooperation between BLCU and Israeli universities and Israeli think tanks in the fields of national and regional studies and sinology research in the future.

Dr. Carice Witte said SIGNAL would like to further deepen the cooperation between BLCU and Israeli universities such as Hebrew University of Jerusalem, University of Haifa, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and further develop other cooperation fields.
