On the afternoon of November 8, Beijing Language and Culture University 12th Awards for Teaching Excellence panel meeting was held in room 1012, comprehensive building.

Zhang Wangxi, Head of the expert review panel, thanked the experts for their support in reviewing the Awards for Teaching Excellence. He pointed out that experts attending lessons is instrumental in improving the teaching level of teachers and is of great importance to the development of teachers themselves. It is hoped that experts will overcome difficulties and strictly control lessons so as to give full coverage to lessons, make fair and just reviews, and focus on whether the teachers' teaching concepts is advanced or not, whether the teaching links are smooth, accurate or not, give fair and exact assessment of teacher's lessons.

Zhou Ren, Director of Office of Academic Affairs, briefed the expert panel of on the declared condition of this session’s Awards for Teaching Excellence. Liu Zhijing, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office gave detailed description of the teaching awards review rules.

Since the start of the Awards for Teaching Excellence in July this year, it had been highly valued by all teaching units. Till November, a total of 30 people had been enrolled. Thus BLCU had set up a leading group to review the entry requirements and the detailed rules. In the next three weeks, experts would attend lessons, and after attending the lessons, the review panel would also hold a review meeting to review and decide the winning candidates.
