On November 8, the 2nd Feng Zikai international prose prizes were officially announced in Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province. BLCU Korean alumni, former Pakistani Ambassador to China Zaccaria Mahmoud Abdul Buss, excellent graduates, Thai student Yang Meiying, Iranian Dr. Na Li from comparative literature and world literature major, grade 2015 and many others won the prize, taking 110,000 RMB prize money.
The 2nd “Feng Zikai international prose prizes” article-soliciting activity were co-sponsored by the Tongxiang Municipal People's Government and the Essay magazine, all essays were submitted online in the form of electronic version, this convenient way of participation greatly improved the participation of Chinese and foreign authors, Chinese submissions up to 5000 articles, foreign contributions were also floated like snow lakes, the influence of the contest further reinforced.
Zakaria Mahmoud Abdou Busi studied in BLCU in the 1970s. His award-winning essay was My Story with Xi'an. Yang Mei-ying was the only one excellent foreign Doctor graduated this year from BLCU, her award-winning essay was 108 Generals of Thailand; Nali was a SJD Candidate from grade 2015 and her award-winning essay was Persian Women.
