September 21, “The Belt and Road” theoretical construction and national and regional academic journal high-end forum was held in BLCU Conference Room 909.

In his speech, President Liu Li introduced the development process of BLCU national and regional research work from nothing. He pointed out that there are two important starting points of promoting the national and regional research work by concluding the development experience of the former years. First, to speed up subject construction and personnel training, second, to create high-end academic display platform, constantly enrich the showing forms of research results, and improve the utilization rate of the research results. In the subject construction and personnel training, BLCU had made some achievements in the high-end academic achievements, but the platform construction of high-end academic achievements still need to be strengthened.

This high-end forum was a thematic academic exchange forum and was held to promote the major project of the study of "Along 'The Belt and Road’ countries" of the national and regional research of the Ministry of Education. The forum had also initiated the establishment of national and regional research academic journals alliance, to further promote the theoretical construction and research results show of the national and regional research.
