Recently, 2017 Confucius Institute "open day" held in Beijing. The theme of this year's "open day" is "My Confucius Institute Story". Nearly 400 people including diplomatic envoys from 24 counties, the member units of the headquarters of the Council, the partner institutions located in Beijing, social organizations, Chinese enterprises, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Dongcheng District and Xicheng District, as well as media representatives and Confucius Institute HSK candidates attended the event.

The opening ceremony of “Open Day” of the Confucius Institute was held on the theme of "My Confucius Institute Story". After welcoming the ceremony, President Liu Li experienced the traditional Chinese culture experience project including calligraphy and tea ceremony, and carefully studied the "The Belt and Road " building materials exhibition.

Beijing Language and Culture University Confucius Institute had been bulit from scratch and were striving for its glorious history. BLCU would promote the construction of the Confucius Institute in the future. The Confucius Institute would achieve better results and enhance the international influence; would train more teachers on the basis of the Confucius Institute and the Teacher Center, and would provide decision-making advice for strengthening the study of the development of Confucius Institute and the development of headquarters.
