September 25 to October 2, the General-Secretary of the BLCU branch Party Chi Lanying, from the College of Intensive Chinese Training and the Institute Director Fang Ming from the Chinese Culture Research Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department, together with other two people, a line of four people visited the United States and Mexico. During the visit, the delegation held talks with the relevant personals at New York University, the Rutgers University of the United States, Princeton University, the University of Vermont, the Middlebury College, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and visited the Confucius Institute at the National Autonomous University of Mexico that had just experienced an earthquake.

The visit had a tight schedule and many tasks. The delegation had actively developed a cooperation path between BLCU and the universities in the eastern part of the United States, which would be significant in promoting the platform cooperation program between BLCU and the United States, and between BLCU and Mexico, and in contributing to the cultivation of talents on language and culture.
