June 15, the Beijing Municipal Higher Education and Culture Communication Research Association announced the selection results of 2016 Beijing Municipal Higher Education WeChat Beautiful Essays, two works submitted by BLCU WeChat public account were awarded “the Best WeChat Beautiful Essay” and “excellent WeChat Beautiful Essay ” respectively.

The selection was organized by the Beijing Municipal Higher Education and Culture Communication Research Association, since November 2016, the Association had received a total 80 articles from 40 colleges and universities in Beijing, after expert review, the BLCU WeChat public account’s work A Absolutely Unexpected BLCU and An Anecdote on Guangzhou Dialect Culture (33) won the “excellent WeChat Beautiful Essay”.

“BLCU” WeChat public account opened on September 10, 2014. And the BLCU Party Committee Propaganda Department was responsible for the operation. As the BLCU’s most authoritative new media platform, with the advantages of new media communication, it served the overall development of BLCU, unity teachers and students, enhance Cohesion, innovate conceptions, contents, forms, and constantly improved the propagation, impact. A large number of WeChat works were forward and praised by BLCU teachers and alumnus.
