April 27, the Confucius Institute of Bonn, built by our university and the University of Bonn, was officially listed.

Professor Michael Hoch, President of Bonn University, met with our delegation in the office. He extended a warm welcome to the arrival of our delegation and expressed his high recognition and expectation for the cooperation between the two universities and Confucius Institutes. He also introduced the reasons why the University of Bonn actively applying for the Confucius Institute and recalled the course of the two universities applying for establishing Confucius Institute. After the talks, president assistant Zhang Baojun, president Michael Hoch, and Lian Yaming, Chairman of the board of the Confucius Institute at Bonn Michael Hoch, signed The Implementation Agreement on Confucius Institute Cooperation.

Confucius Institute headquarters issued a congratulatory letter for the establishment of Bonn Confucius Institute, the Confucius Institute headquarters believed that the Confucius Institute of Bonn would add new vitality and motivation to the Sino-German cultural exchanges, bring about a new chapter in the development of Sino-German friendly relations. It was hoped that the Confucius Institute of Bonn of Beijing Language University and the University of Bonn would build a bridge for the exchange and cooperation between China and Germany in the fields of education and cultural exchanges.
