On the morning of April 23, the opening ceremony of the 14th World Culture Festival of Beijing Language and Culture University was held at Yifu Auditorium.

Liu Wei, deputy secretary of our university party committee in the speech recalled the contributions we made in the course of cultivating international students, she cited “Isn’t it happy to have friends from afar?”, and hoped students treat foreign friends with a sincere attitude, On the basis of seeking common ground while reserving differences and respecting each other, we can realize “zero time difference and no borders between countries in BLCU”.

Wang Yiwen, director of the Beijing Language and Culture University Student Liaison Center, recalled the major activities of the International Student Liaison Center and the students' cultural exchange in recent years, and introduced the development of the World Cultural Festival. The number of countries and regions participated in the World Cultural Festival reached 100, reached a new high.
