On the evening of May 8, BLCU Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation volunteer engagement mobilization ceremony was held in Room 707, Comprehensive building B. More than 90 BLCU volunteers participated the ceremony.

On the mobilization ceremony, Deputy Secretary Liu Wei delegated the flag to the BLCU volunteer representative, thus formally established the BLCU Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation volunteer service team. Liu Wei, deputy secretary said in the speech that The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation that had attracted the world’s attention, is having its opening ceremony, which is marked as the highest specification of the forum activities of The Belt and Road in the past three years and is an important home diplomatic activity of China, as a result, it is of great significance in promoting international and regional cooperation. Its BLCU’s great honor to have nearly 100 students participating the forum as volunteers. Liu Wei, deputy secretary had three hopes for all the volunteers: First, you should dedicate in your work, unity your work partners, and provide high-level, high-quality services; Second, you should strictly observe the rules and regulations, maintain optimism, thus showing the BLCU students’ spirit of positive thoughts, good manners, good images, and good service to the world; Third, you should actively take the initiative to learn, to improve your ability, and to gain more during the service. Vice secretary Liu Wei expressed his utmost respect to all the volunteers, and hoped that they could serve well with a serving spirit, thus creating best memories and presenting a perfect forum to the world. BLCU volunteer service team captain Liu Sidi led all the volunteers to swear aroused the determination and confidence in the enthusiasm service of volunteers.
