On the afternoon of May 12, more than 20 delegates led by Luo Tieying, chairman of Thailand Alumni Association of Students Studying in Chinese Universities, visited our university.
Our university secretary Li Yuming expressed warm welcome to the delegation. He pointed out that in the current world, there are still relatively complex, varied environment and various types of instability factors, thus the fully implementation of The Belt and Road initiative is of great importance. He introduced the programs between BLCU and Thailand, such as “Beijing Language and Culture University Bangkok College” so as to encourage Thailand to study Chinese university alumni to play a role of linking and promoting Sino-Thai cooperation. BLCU is willing to provide positive assistance to Thailand Alumni Association of Students Studying in Chinese Universities and welcomes the delegates to visit BLCU.
The visit was recommended and arranged by the the Education Unit of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand to help Thailand Alumni Association of Students Studying in Chinese Universities to have an in-depth understanding of the current situation of China’s higher education development, to promote civil and cultural exchange activities, and to assist the delegation in distance education.
