March 29, CCTSS Forum on Overseas Translation and Communication of Famous Works of Chinese Contemporary Literature, hosted by Chinese Culture Translation and Studies Support（CCTSS）was held in our university. President Cui Xiliang attended the forum and delivered a speech. More than 60 teachers and students attended the forum. The Forum was chaired by Associate Professor Xu Baofeng, National Engineering Leader of “Chinese Culture Translation and Studies Support”.

This forum was based on the national project “Chinese Culture Translation and Studies Support” of our university, as the working platform, invited 15 digital book promotion and sales channels and 40 publishing organizations to participate by inviting writers members, Institutional membership work on contracts, And through forum dialogue, speech and other forms, to support a group of contemporary Chinese outstanding writers collective “appearance”, and effectively promote the Chinese writers overseas copyright cooperation. At the forum, “Guide to the Works of Contemporary Chinese Writers” (English version) officially released, the first phase recommended 40 contemporary Chinese literatures to the foreign countries.

On the evening of March 29, in order to deepen the exchange among Chinese writers and translators, channels at home and abroad, and Press representatives, the organizers also held a “Reading Chinese Culture, taste Chinese Literature” writer Salon in Beijing “October” Arts & Literature Publishing House, and invited the delegates to talk together about the thoughts and ideas on the Overseas Communication of Chinese Literary Works.
