On the afternoon of March 15th, the conference of international student work arrangement in the 2017 spring semester was held at 909 of comprehensive building. Liu Wei, vice secretary of the BLCU party committee attended the meeting and made a speech.

The vice secretary Liu Wei, expressed his gratitude and affirmation to the hard work and the unremitting efforts of the international student management team, and he made requirements of the educational work on the international student management services: First, do well in visa management, attendance management and other basic work to improve the level of informatization of international student management work, and to establish an information system that matches the internationalization of BLCU. Second, do well in work of campus security and stability, concern about ideological trends of the international students, enhance the political sensitivity of management work, and improve the quality of administrative staff on foreign affairs, attention to religious management. Third, take a correct attitude towards work, improve the sense of responsibility and be mindful of potential dangers, and fully understand the international student career is the foundation of BLCU, promote the initial consultation accountability system in the management work, avoid prevarication, and attract more international students to study here with a high level of service.

Deputy Director Ma xiaofei reported on the work of international student management services in 2016, summed up the key issues at this stage of work, and conveyed the specific work requirements of the relevant authorities in terms of entry and exit immigration, visa and scholarship management. The international student colleges, the functional departments actively discussed the key issues, determining the work ideas for the difficult issues of the semester.
