On September 29, hosted by the China-Israel Academic Exchange Symposium, the 2016 Israel-China Policy Seminar was held at the Interdisciplinary Research Center in Herzliya, Israel. President Cui Xiliang was invited by the organizer to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

In his speech, Professor Cui pointed out Israel’s strength in the field of higher education, especially in the past 20 years, the rapid development of international scientific research model and high-quality assurance system in Israel in the field of higher education in the world. Beijing Language and Culture University attached great importance to Israel’s outstanding advantages in the field of higher education, hoping to open up new channels of communication and cooperation in a variety of forms in the field of higher education.

Mr. Cui’s remarks were endorsed by the delegates. China and Israel are highly complementary, and China should actively cooperate with Israel in pragmatic cooperation in the field of higher education to promote the cultivation of international talents.
