From 16 to 24 December, the teaching-open-class activities by the winners of the eleventh session of the School Teaching Excellence Award of BLCU was held. The open class consists of 3 parts and was given by excellent teaching award winning teachers. Professor Zhang Wangxi spoke before the first public class, he affirmed the outstanding achievements in teaching made by award-winning teachers, encouraged them to make persistent efforts and called for teachers to learn from award-winning teachers.

　　They are teacher Gou Dongning form Business School, Zhu Tong from Chinese International Education Department, Liu Dan from Faculty of Foreign Languages, they separately taught economics principle, elementary Chinese reading and comprehensive English. Three teachers had their different styles, or humorous, or meanders, or explain the profound things in a simple way, but they were all fully prepared, their lectures are lively, logic was clear, the atmosphere was active and reached good teaching effect, reflecting the good spirit of teachers and outstanding teaching levels of Beijing Language and Culture University, won the praise of all experts and teachers present.

　　The open class is for teachers of the whole university, aimed to promote the mutual communication and discussion of teaching experience and teaching methods, play the exemplary role of excellent teachers. The public courses was held in the new language practice studio and record by audio-visual center teachers and was expected to complete by the end of December, then would be placed in the campus network video and BLCU module class platform for teachers and students to observe.
