On the evening of April 9, the graduation ceremony of Confucius Institute Headquarters' 2019 pre-job training for Chinese volunteer teachers to Thailand and the “Wonderful Thai” Thai Cultural Experience Day was ceremoniously held in Run Run Shaw lecture hall. 141 Chinese volunteers from 13 universities who will teach in Thailand gathered with 34 Thai teachers and students from Beijing Language and Culture University to pass on China – Thailand friendship of “China, Thailand and All in the family” through a variety of cultural experience activities such as making and drifting of Krathong (water lamp), traditional Chinese and Thailand art performances and tasting Thai food, presenting the traditional friendship of “Jeen Thai Phee Nong Gan” (China and Thailand are brothers).

China and Thailand have established diplomatic relations for more than 40 years. The friendship between the two countries has a long history. With the enhancement of Belt and Road Initiative's impact, the sense of community of shared destiny is gradually gaining popularity. The communication between the two countries in the fields of humanities, economy, and trade has deepened and diversified. Beijing Language and Culture University has made a lot of efforts in promoting Sino-Thai friendship. It has trained a large number of outstanding Chinese talents for the cooperative development of Sino-Thai economy, culture, education, and other fields. It has truly practiced to make Chinese go abroad and take root all around the world.
