From March 14 to March 20, the Australian art exhibition "Achasing The Inner Charms of the World-The Exhibition of Qi Ming Chinese Paintings Melbourne Australia", which was co-sponsored by the Australian Victoria Artists Society and HUAAO International Massive Video, was held at Victoria Artists Society Art Center in Melbourne. The exhibition featured 35 works by BLCU Professor Qi Ming at different stages.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Qi Ming made a detailed explanation on the theme of the exhibition, the theme of the exhibition is " creating the soul and moist the things", the so-called "moisten the things " is derived from Tu Fu's poem " watered everything silently ", while Tu Fu's "watered everything silently " refers to watering everything by nature, Professor Qi Ming's "moist the things peacefully" refers to moistening things in mind; the so-called "creating the soul", is derived from Zong Bing's Huashanshui Xu, which pays attention to the intersection of the inner spirit between the painter and painting object, in a word, it conveys the meaning and value of life through the painting of specific objective. Professor Qi Ming stressed that Chinese painters first use their poetic minds to feel, and then present their feeing to the public through their brush. With the poetic mind and the expression of Chinese painting as clues, Professor Qi Ming elaborated on the understanding of the cultural characteristics of Chinese painting work, which aroused great interest of the audience.
