At the evening of December 12, the 7th “Thinking Language Cup” Chinese Debate Final held by the Beijing Language and Culture University, co-organized by the Beijing Debate Association and the Debate Development Association, was held in the Shaw Auditorium.

The two games on the day were around the theme of “today, China should cultivate national pride or national sense of crisis” and “which is more important for dissemination of Chinese image, content or channels?”. After a fierce confrontation, the Humanities team 1 won the championship, the Humanities team 2 won the runner-up, Informatics team 1 won the third place, Business School won the best organization award, School of Western Languages and Cultures team won the best style award.

The 7th “Thinking Language Cup” of the Beijing Language and Culture University was held for one month. 14 teams from different schools and different majors were well prepared during the debate. They demonstrated their meticulous logical thinking, skills and self-confidence of the stage image in the debate field. The debates of this debate all-inclusive, have a certain depth and social realism. Through these topics, players have a more profound understanding on nowadays society, China, and the world, and also show the patriotism and broad international perspective of students in BLCU.
